This is the answer to “isn’t this just loyalty points?”. Six ways out, each with its fee and arrival time. Ordered by how usable they are for you, not by what we earn.

  • Spend it across the Tutu suite

    Website builder, drive, AI assistant, payments — 20-plus products share one balance. This route needs no bank and no international payment rails at all.

  • Send it to someone

    Anyone with a Tutu account can receive it. A friend across town, family, someone who did work for you — with no international payment institution involved.

  • Sell it for local cash

    List it on the market; someone in your own country buys it with local currency, and the credit stays frozen in escrow until you confirm you were paid. This is where “bypassing global payments” actually happens.

  • Airtime and gift cards

    Straight onto a phone number. In many places airtime is itself money that circulates again.

    M-Pesa, OPay, JazzCash, GCash and similar. Enabled per country; your wallet page lists exactly which ones you have.

So how is this different from loyalty points

Loyalty points only work at the shop that issued them, they expire, and they never become money. This credit works across the whole suite, never expires, can be sent to another person, and can be sold for local cash. The first three are constants in the code that no admin can change.
